Set Quality Standards: Establish internal quality standards for microfibre release in washing based on available testing methods. Legislation sets a restriction limit of 0.01% by mass (100 mg/kg). It’s important to note that this limit does not apply to microfibres released from textiles, as these are not banned—given that they are not intentionally added.
